Hailing from the Limestone City, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Society’s Sorrow is a 4-piece metal outfit intent on taking no prisoners. With their hard-hitting songs and energetic live performances, they give metal fans an overdose of of the music they crave. With core influences such as Metallica, Slayer and Pantera, as well as varied other individual influences ranging from Guns N Roses to Disturbed, they bring out a very classic metal sound that is heavily influences by modern hard rock and metal

Band History

Society’s Sorrow was formed in the spring of 2007 by rhythm guitarist, Duane Hudson. After attempts to start a band with other musicians failed, Duane approached Joe to jump onboard this yet unnamed project. Joe agreed to join and take on bass and vocal duties. Next came Adam Correia who was recruited to become the heartbeat of this new sonic machine. July 2007 heated up as the trio hit the Sonic Bakery for the first time to start writing material and record preliminary demos. Finally, the quartet was rounded out in August 2007 with the addition of Jason Andrews on lead guitar.

Since then the band has been working hard both in and out of the studio. From many shows in the Kingston area to working on a full length album, the band started picking up steam, building a solid, devoted fanbase.

Current Status

In ealy May, 2008, drummer Adam Correia decided to leave the band. Local drum monster Landon Chatterton filled in for the 2 following shows. In September 2008, Society's Sorrow picked up Graham Wright to take over drum duties. After almost 2 year of service, Graham was replaced with original drummer Adam Correia who returned to the fold, bringing back the original lineup, stronger than ever.

The Road Ahead

Their self-produced debut album is in production and and will be a 12 track battering ram to pummel your eardrums into obvlivion and give you extensive neck pain from the excessive headbanging. Pain medication not included.

Usage:	Joe, when taken in regular, prescribed doses, can help cope with the stresses associated with everyday life. However, Joe is not right for everyone. Before taking Joe, be sure to ask your doctor if Joe is right for you. Effects may include excessive laughter, sore ribs, strained face mucles, loss of bladder control, nausea, diarrhea, and loss of the ability to perceive reality quite the same way again. If you experience any of these symptoms from the use of Joe, then treatment has been successful. Other more serious side effects may include rash, loss of the ability to speak, insomnia, repulsion, confusion, feelings of inadequacy, paranoia or general malaise.
